For its cinematic and sensitive portrayal of deep human relationships between the members of a family living in a complex social environment.

FIPRESCI Award
THE KINGS OF TIME / AJA MEISTRID (Director Mait Laas, Estonia) 
The film shows the life and work of two pioneers in puppet animation focussed on Estonian School and in the same time it tells the story of Estonia itself in the last century. The director Laas is combining different genres with important personal and historical information. THE KINGS OF TIME is both Art and Entertainment.
