ANIMATHEQUE nr. 5 presents animations by Denise Hauser
Animation Film Festival Animated Dreams in co-operation with animation department of the Estonian Academy of Arts is organizing monthly screenings of animated films in the auditorium of Kumu Art Museum (Weizenbergi 34, Tallinn).
The series of animation events ANIMATHEQUE brings artistic animation to a wider public, outside of the festival Animated Dreams. Once a month, the public can meet an animation director from Estonia and abroad. Next event is going to take place on 26 of January at 18:00. The guest is Swiss animator Denise Hauser who will present her short films and commercial work.
Denise Hauser (1980) Originally, Denise is from Zurich in Switzerland. Since 1997 she has gained training and professional experience in Zurich and Londonranging from film making and animation, to illustration, to window display design and exhibition design. Since July 2008, Denise is based in Norway where she works as a freelance film maker, animator and illustrator, commercially as well as artistically. Her film Copy City has been screened in several animation festivals, in 2008 Animated Dreams the film was included in the program of best student animations. Copy City is an experimental exploration into marginal worlds, having its roots in the new media development.
