Janis Jurkovskis (1987, Latvia) is a 3rd year AV Media student at Baltic Film and Media School. He has participated in more than 10 film projects working mostly as director or cinematographer. On the 5th International Film School Festival in Porto he was awarded the prize of the best foreign cinematographer for his short film “The Visitor” directed by Robi Uppin.

There is a mortally wounded young soldier in a crater and a bunch of hungry rats from the battlefield try to find an answer to the question „Who is Lili Marleen?“, is it a memory picture of the first love or the first intercourse with a prostitute earning her regular income.

Riho Unt (1956) graduated Estonian Art Academy as an interior architect. Since 1991 he works at puppet film company "Nukufilm" and reads lectures at Estonian Art Academy since 1998. Author of "North Dragon", „The Penguin Parade", „ Bewitched Island", „Cabbage Head" and many more.

Jaanis Valk was born in 1979 in southern Estonia. He has a BA in Film and Video studies and is presently working on his MA. He has directed two short fiction films and a feature length documentary film as his graduation film. He has appeared in several Estonian fiction films and has worked as assistant director on the production of a feature film.

Once a year there is a highlight event for all Estonian MCs – MC Battle where young rappers perform and test each other to find out who is the best MC of the year. It is probably the least known folk-event in Estonia. There the spoken word is mightier than a sword. The fame it promises to a winner is alluring and brings together an array of colorful types.

Mihkel Ulk (born 1983, Estonia) studies MA for directing in Baltic Film and Media School. He has done many short films and TV ads. „MC Battle – War of Words“  is his first documentary film. In 2007, Ulk's „Heartlessness“ received „The Most Studentlike Film“ title at Sleepwalkers.
